We tell stories that are more than beautiful—they feel.

We don’t just capture how your day looked, but how it felt.
No forced poses, no staged perfection. Real emotion, natural rhythm, and cinematic elegance.

Our style is intuitive, playful and warm—like having close friends around who just happen to be filming. We flow with your energy, gently blend in, and catch the details that matter most. Whether it’s a barefoot elopement in the mountains or a golden-hour celebration overseas, we’re not here to direct your story—we’re here to be part of it.

Run Wild Films began naturally.
Wynona needed support for one of her destination weddings, so Wessel joined. One trip turned into many, and after countless adventures, capturing lovestories abroad, we realized how deeply we shared a passion for storytelling, freedom, and connection. That’s when we decided to join forces.

By combining our creative tools and vision, Run Wild Films was born—more than just a brand for destination weddings. We wanted to create something that celebrates wild love, honest moments, and a life fully lived. A brand rooted in emotion, freedom, and playfulness. One that not only serves our couples, but gives something back to the world.

Because we don’t just want to film beauty—we want to create it.
That’s why
we donate 5% of every wedding to a cause that matters.

And we don’t stop there.

Through coaching and creative sessions, we’re also here to guide fellow filmmakers—those who feel the same pull to tell meaningful stories and build something soulful.

Our goal?
To create films that move you. That bring you back to the laughter, the stillness, the chaos, the tears. Not just now, but 30 years from now.

This is your story.

Let’s tell it in a way that’s unforgettable—and completely, unapologetically you.

See you soon!
Wynona & Wessel

INTRODUCTION

Hi, I’m Wynona!

From drawing and theatre to photography and film – creating has always been my way of feeling the world and expressing it. With a study in Audiovisual Design & Storytelling, I blend visual narrative with a deep love for nature, travel, connection and emotion.

I'm a visual thinker – I don’t just capture moments, I translate energy. I naturally tune into atmosphere and personality, and intuitively turn it into visuals that feel true, emotive, and soul-aligned.

But there’s more to me than just my lens!

I’m full of energy, love sports and adventure, being outdoors, and thrive on new challenges. I have a worked for years in hospitality at the beach while building my own business. I'm a sun-chasing kind of person who gets lit up by dancing at the beach, surfing at sunrise, challenging hikes or chasing the unknown.

I’m a people person – extraverted, curious, and always up for meaningful connections (or spontaneous fun). I’m not afraid of risk – I want to live ten lives in one. Ideally I soon live somewhere sun-drenched with a surf break at my doorstep so I can jump into the ocean every day and organise retreats in nature.

For now, I’m still happily based in the Netherlands, but always traveling from here to wherever life pulls me next. Whether I’m creating or exploring – I’m here to live fully, connect deeply, share my passions and tell real stories that feel.

about WESSEL

I’m Wessel – a filmmaker with a background in psychology, a passion for visual storytelling, and a love for nature, travel, and human connection.

I first picked up a camera and drone while traveling — and quickly fell in love with capturing not just places, but real energy and emotion through film. That spark grew into a career working with brands like Sony, DJI, and international tourism boards, creating cinematic content around the world.

Alongside travel films, I now specialize in wedding filmmaking — not to simply document the day, but to create something that feels honest, emotional, and timeless. My background in psychology helps me tune into the moments that matter most, and make people feel at ease in front of the camera.

When I’m not filming, you’ll likely find me on a trip somewhere remote, or watching new films — always seeking inspiration and new ways to experience life more fully.
